Go to http://techludd.com. First one is in Dublin. 2nd in Limerick. It's not really related to OpenCoffee though so perhaps this channel isn't the place for a discussion.

@johnm Haha! I like the way you're advocating the sedentary lifestyle! If only the world made judgements about us based solely on our minds and social interactions. Unfortunately despite our alledgedly advancing society physical appearance is getting more important not less.

@rgb I'll have to disagree with you about that! I'm from the west end of the Bluestacks in Donegal. I used to run a 7/8k route over the mountains as a "pre" pre-season. Granted that was 10 years ago... Don't have any pics to put up though so you win for now. :) Agree about concrete and lamposts not being very inspiring though. It's not the same if you have to drive somewhere to go for a run.

Good for you! Just running wouldn't be for me. When I chuck in football I'll do some other sport for staying in shape I reckon. Tennis maybe?? :)
Agreed about dieters. Biggest problem with most diets is too much too quickly and expecting immediate results. Can cause starvation response in the body which not only stops them losing the fat they want, it also causes the body to gain weight back more quickly when they give up on it. The way you did it is way better. Starving yourself isn't fun or practical.

@EirePreneur: Can't imagine you at fifteen stone!! You're spot on about weight loss though. It's usually a straight calorie equation no matter what your diet. I had to adjust considerably when I stopped playing fulltime. Let's just say I didn't do it very well for a while. A lot of players gain weight when they stop. Surprises people but makes sense when you think about it. :)
